A dripping faucet or a kitchen remodel should not turn into an open-ended hourly bill. We publish starting labour: faucet installation from $245, kitchen sink hook-up $375, double sink $425, wall-mounted hand sink $745.
We confirm the shutoff, drain, and supply fit before we start. If a valve is seized or the drain needs a new trap, we price that before we cut the old fixture loose.

These are labour starting points. The fixture itself is extra if you want us to supply it. Bathtub installation starts from $950 when that is the job. Main shutoffs are $325 for ½-inch and $375 for ¾-inch if we replace those while we are under the sink.

What we check before we start
Hole count on the sink. Supply shutoffs that actually turn. A drain that is not corroded through. A dishwasher connection if the kitchen faucet or sink is changing. A wall-mounted sink needs blocking in the wall. We will not hang a heavy basin on drywall anchors and hope.
If you bought a faucet online, keep the spec sheet. Pull-down sprayers, pot fillers, and vessel sinks each have a different rough-in. Five minutes of checking saves a second trip.
How the install works
We shut the water, remove the old faucet or sink, and inspect the valves and trap. New supplies and a new trap are common on older Toronto kitchens. We set the new fixture, connect hot and cold, test every joint, and check the drain for leaks while the water runs.
We leave the cabinet dry. If a valve crumbles, we stop and price the replacement. That is better than a flood in a cabinet full of cleaning supplies.
Drip versus a full replacement
A cartridge swap can stop a drip on a sound faucet. If the body is pitted, the finish is gone, or you are already renovating the counter, replace the faucet. We will not talk you into a $245 install when a $40 cartridge would do. We also will not keep rebuilding a faucet that has failed twice.

Kitchen, bath, and laundry hook-ups
A kitchen sink is more than a faucet. The drain, the trap, the dishwasher tailpiece, and sometimes a garbage-disposal flange all have to line up. That is why the published hook-up is $375 for a single bowl and $425 for a double. A bathroom faucet from $245 is usually supplies only.
Laundry stands and utility sinks fail the same way: a seized shutoff and a trap that has corroded through. We replace those while we are there if they are done. A new faucet on a crumbling valve is a callback waiting to happen.
If the counter is already cut for a different hole pattern, we will say whether an adapter plate will look acceptable or whether you need a different faucet. We would rather tell you before we open the box than after the return window is awkward.
What to have on site
The new faucet or sink, the spec sheet, and a clear cabinet. If the shutoffs are behind stored bottles, we will still work — it just takes longer. If you do not have the fixture yet, we can measure the holes and the supplies so you buy the right one.
A leaking supply hose can wait for a scheduled visit. A spray under the sink that is filling the cabinet is an emergency. Shut the valve under the sink if it turns. If it does not, shut the main and call (647) 534-6875. We can often replace a failed supply and the faucet on the same visit so you are not left with a bag over the tap. Bring the new fixture if you have it so the cabinet is dry when we leave.
